The Rousemount 8800D series of Vortex flow meters from Emerson, is available with stainless steel housings that increase the reliability and longevity of the flow meters in corrosive environments caused by salt water and salt in the air. The stainless steel transmitter housing is available on the broad range of the Vortex flow meters, including wafer and flanged meters, dual sensor and ReducerTM Vortex flow meters. These housings are ideally suited for offshore oil, gas and marine industries and food, beverage and life science applications. Premature failure of these transmitters can thus be avoided.
