The models K8A and K8B precision rotary blade wire strippers from Eraser, can process round, extruded, solid and stranded built-up, magnet, enamel and film insulated wires and coaxial cables. Though insulations such as Kapton, silicon rubber and armored polythermaleze can be easily stripped from the cables. The units offer an adjustable blade depth and pressure as well as strip length. As the blade tips are located directly behind the see through guard stripping can be done close to the work pieces, coil bodies or bobbins. Window stripping on magnet wire is possible after removing the strip length stop. The model K8A uses an electro-pneumatic actuating system, while the Model K8B uses a mechanically activated foot pedal.
