Radiocrafts AS RIIM System

Engineered for long range and low power application such as IoT access, RIIM (Radiocrafts Industrial IP Mesh) is a 6LoWPAN sub-GHz mesh network created by Radiocrafts AS. Based on fully integrated RF modules, it is a lightweight version of IPv6 enabling the user to access each sensor and controller from the internet using IP addressing. This solution, also called ICI (Intelligent C-programmable I/O), enables the user to create complex applications in less than 100 lines of C-code.


A novel solution to create complex applications managing and interfacing sensors and actuators


The radio protocol uses IEEE 802.15.4 g/e delivering bidirectional communications with short transmission pulses for dense networks. Moreover, RIIM can support several hundred nodes in a network, working up to 20 km range with an 868 MHz or a 915 MHz frequency. It can have an Ethernet access via the Radiocrafts border router and is also Cloud compatible through the CBOR protocol.
