The world IPC market, estimated at $1.9 billion in 2008, is forecast to fall by over $200 million in 2009. A new report from IMS Research, focused on the world market for IPCs, projects a revenue decline of over 11% from 2008 to 2009. The largest regional decrease is expected in EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa). IMS Research Senior Analyst, Mark Watson, commented, “Recovery of the world IPC market is expected to begin slowly in 2010 as government investment filters through to industry and confi dence amongst users of IPCs starts to increase. ”
