Yaskawa Electric Europe GmbH (YEG) and Omron Europe B.V. (OEE) have agreed to terminate their joint venture and to replace it by a new mid-term European partnership agreement effective 5th October 2009. In order to grow the market shares further, YEG and OEE have decided to build a new basis for a partnership. For that reason YEG will strengthen its direct sales activities to expand direct key account sales, whereas OEE will further strengthen its focus on the industrial automation business.
