ESR Pollmeier presents a new generation AC servo drives. More powerful processors allow improved control characteristics, more variety in the encoder interfaces and new communication protocols. The supplier offers a Profinet interface in addition to EtherCAT, CANopen, or Modbus/TCP. By that, the new servo drives cover the most important interfaces and can be combined with a variety of controllers and operator terminals. All motor position sensor technologies are supported, resolvers as well as absolute and incremental encoders with Hiperface, EnDat, or BiSS interface, easy to connect at the new universal connector. The compact servo drives can be connected directly to 230 V or 3 × 400/480 V mains. The company offers servo drives and AC servo motors or direct drive systems as drive packages with power of up to 15 kW.
