The plastoSENS T04 plastic temperature probe by Jumo is contact optimized. It is possible to measure the temperature by placing it against a pipe. Coated with plastic in the injection molding process, this delivers freedom of design and a high level of insulation and vibration resistance. It grants measurement over a temperature up to 180°C. According to the requirements involved, platinum thin film sensors can be used in a two-wire circuit to measure the temperature. Equipped with an IP65 protection, the Jumo plastoSENS T04 temperature probe is entirely made from thermally conductive plastic, for fast response time and reproducible measurements.

Accessories included: a shielding shell and fastening clip

A broad choice of variants with different diameters enables the probes to be optimally adapted to suit the pipe diameter, regardless of the material (copper, steel, plastic pipes) dealt with. The T04 plastic temperature probe is fastened externally, consequently, the flow in the pipe remains unchanged. This device also permits temperature measurements on small tubes such as of 8.0 mm or 3/8”. Moreover, a seal can be given to the temperature probe installation to easily recognize any tampering. The comprehensive accessories grant the probe to be easily mounted without additional tools. Furthermore, the device minimizes environmental influences such as drafts, that can alter the results.
