Parker Hannifin's modular air logic devices offer an alternative to conventional PLCs for use in pneumatic circuits, in applications without electrical supply or where ATEX compliance is required. These compact modules can be used to replicate the operation of electrical switches and relays. They operate in response to the condition of inlet and exhaust signals from connected upstream devices. The modules can be plugged together with inlet and exhaust connections front mounted. Operating pressures can be between 3 and 8 bar, at temperatures from -40ºC to +60ºC. The response time of these modules is less than 3msecs and their operating life longer than 10million cycles at pressures of 6bar.
