ElectroCraft has expanded its MobilePower traction system offer with the MPW52 and MPW86. The MobilePower Wheel-Drive (MPW) series feature a high torque-density brushless DC motor with an integrated single-stage planetary gearbox and wheel drive assembly. As an application-specific extension to the ElectroCraft MobilePower gearmotor product offering, it includes industrial-grade traction systems for automated guided vehicles (AGV) and a broad range of autonomous mobile robots (AMR).

As a powerful compact wheel drives, the MPW builds on the ElectroCraft gearmotor knowledge base and leverages the high-torque-density. The MPW52 features a 92mm *150 lbs. load per wheel and 4.0 N-m continuous torque, while the MPW86 features a 130mm *500 lbs. load per wheel and 20.0 N-m continuous torque. The wheel diameters size from 4” to 8” and the wheel speeds are from 4 to 14 MPH for both.
