With the new C16-3 2+PE, Amphenol-Tuchel Electronics has developed connector solutions for single-phase supply. The IP67 protected and UV resistant connector is designed to withstand up to 35A and 600V, and the bayonet lock provides a quick locking mechanism. The contacts with screw termination facilitate a quick and easy field installation of the female cable connector. Here gauges of up to 6mm² are used. The stamped contacts used on the application side enable a very quick termination in manufacturing, and thereby save the customer time and costs. On the application side, gauges of up to 4mm² are possible. A further advantage of the VDE approved connector is the compact design with a diameter of just under 34mm, which also benefits the handling of the connector. In addition, the company offers a broad, multifaceted, and efficient range of plastic circular connectors.
