Staged on Thursday 15th June 2017, at the Copthorne Effingham Park Hotel near Gatwick Airport, the CSA Gala Awards Dinner will once again bring together the entire commissioning arena in a celebration of business and professional excellence. Recognising and rewarding the achievements of both individuals and companies operating within this important sector of the building services industry, personal endeavour, technical innovation, engineering advancement, energy saving, and service provision will all be acknowledged and celebrated.

Industry wide engagement

Produced by the Commissioning Specialists Association on behalf of its members and their associates, this third annual awards programme will build on the successes of the previous two years.  With well-deserved recognition previously given to a host of leading industry names, such as Banyard Consultants, Johnson Controls, End Systems, Belimo Automation, Cross Count, Marflow Hydronics, Premier Airtech and Ashford Environmental Services, and support provided by the likes of BSRIA Instrument Solutions,  Modern Building Services and of course the CSA itself,  the Awards can already claim wide industry engagement.

Award categories

Seven awards are up for grabs at the 2017 event:

Project of the Year – sponsored by Johnson Controls

Product Innovation of the Year - sponsored by CSA

Commissioning Provider of the Year - sponsored by MBS

Investment in Training Award - sponsored by BSRIA Instrument Solutions

Student of the Year - sponsored by CSA

Engineer of the Year - sponsored by Ashford Environmental Services

Lifetime Contribution Award - sponsored by CSA

Call for nominations

Entries are being sought for any company, product, service, application or individual operating within the commissioning or wider building services arena. Individuals can put forward entries for themselves and their own company, or they can nominate others that they know merit recognition. The online entry process couldn’t be easier, so anyone wishing to play their part in highlighting excellence should visit the CSA Awards website - http://csa-awards.co.uk.

Closing date for entries

The closing date for all entries is 5.00pm on Friday 31st March 2017.  So for those wanting industry-wide recognition for a job well done, be it for technical innovation or application know-how, for environmental consideration or commitment to training, they should make a note of this important date.  It is completely free of charge to enter the awards, but the promotional value associated with being selected as a finalist is worth many hundreds of pounds.  And for those individuals and companies who become one of the seven winners, the promotional benefit is even greater.

Commenting on the awards, CSA Chairman, Andrew Watkin said “The 2016 CSA Awards proved to be a huge success and provided an excellent forum through which to celebrate business and professional excellence right across the commissioning arena.  I very much look forward to building on that success with the 2017 awards programme, and would encourage all those operating in this wonderful sector of ours to put forward a nomination.”

He added,” As the saying goes, ‘you need to be in it to win it’, so please do go online, review the categories and begin preparing your entries – just being selected as a finalist can offer superb brand exposure, so what have you got to lose?”
