Differential Pressure Transmitter

Suitable for rough environments

Featuring a measurement range of ±75 mbar to ±420 bar, the MKDS differential pressure transmitter allows a turn down up to 100:1. Developed by Müller Industrie-Elektronik, it is suitable for rough environments where high temperature and pressure levels prevail. Environmentally protected to IP65, the transmitter has a robust housing and measuring diaphragm both made of stainless steel. Where high accuracy at very low pressures and a device with high overload-protection are required, it can be used as a manifold. The compact type of construction and small dimension enables space restricted areas or where the measuring area is difficult to access. The transmitter has a 4 to 20 mA current loop output (12 to 45 VDC). With HART-protocol, initial operation, parameterisation, signal analysis, data saving and reporting can be done externally and in a safe place using a handheld HART-communicator. The device also has a USB interface for PC connection and offers optional CAN-open-Bus/ProfiBus and Mod-Bus interfaces.
