The MiiNePort W1, an embedded wireless module, provides IEEE 802.11 b/g wireless connectivity to serial devices with compact dimensions and low power consumption at a mere 1.18W. With innovative features, such as a wide-temperature (-40 to 85°C) design that can withstand severe operating environments, fast roaming technology to reduce handover times, and a variety of wireless security support in AES, WEP 64/128-bit, WPA, WPA2, PSK, 802.11i, the MiiNePort W1 is ideal for industrial automation, RFID and smart green (solar power) applications.
