Encapsulated Motors

Motors with fully encapsulated windings guarantee smooth and reliable operation in a wide variety of applications. With its encapsulation technology, HANNING offers solutions suitable especially for harsh environmental conditions and high power density requirements. In addition to the usual impregnation method, the windings are potted using a suitable compound, which can be epoxy or polyurethane, depending on application requirements. Completely potted and encapsulated motors offer protection against moisture and humidity. Power density is increased due to excellent thermal conductivity of the potting compound. The windings are jacketed, as if in a cocoon, for protection against mechanical vibrations. The encapsulation technology is available for all housed motors from the company.
