Energy efficiency for the EC cross flow fan

Fandis proposes for the automotive sector an intelligent air moving solution, including in its ventilation product range a new cross flow fan with electronically commutated EC-motors. This fan combines the tangential main advantages of compactness and low-noise performance with a minimized energy consumption and an efficient speed control without external sensors.

The Fandis cross flow fan is driven by a 3-phase, 8-pole brushless DC motor with 200-3,000 speed range, and offer the benefit of a continuously variable controllability over analog signal (0–10 V) or digital inputs (PWM - pulse width modulation signal).

Many other parameters can be set according to the customer requirements, including the sense of motor rotation, the min./max. speed rotation, the safety temperature level of the motor, the max. current, the type of speed control and the soft start.
