Haydon Kerk Motion Solutions and Pittman Motors, both units of AMETEK Precision Motion Control, have come together to provide product engineers access to the broadest range of linear and rotary motion solutions available from a single source. As combined businesses within AMETEK Precision Motion Control, the Haydon Kerk and Pittman brands offer design engineers and others a complete line of motion products that can be customized to meet just about any application.
The expanded product offering includes DC brush and brushless motors, linear actuators, precision lead screws, motorized and non-motorized linear rail and guide systems, drives, and controllers. Motor products also are available with a wide array of options, including gearboxes, encoders, and brakes.
Haydon Kerk and Pittman products already are designed into thousands of precision motion controlled devices, including instruments and devices for the medical, laboratory life sciences, semiconductor and communications industries. Nearly all of AMETEK's motion control products can be further customized to help streamline customers' product design and manufacturing processes, often resulting in lower integration and manufacturing costs.
Supporting the Haydon Kerk Motion Solutions and Pittman brands, are global sales, applications, and design engineering teams to help develop a solution for just about any motion control problem. The combined organization is built around a business model of global reach with local support. North American design teams are located in Connecticut, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Ohio and Pennsylvania, Additional field sales engineers are located throughout North America.
In Europe, Haydon Kerk and Pittman engineering resources are deployed in Germany, Italy, and France with support in all other countries through local organizations supported by both the US and European engineering teams. Haydon Kerk and Pittman also have design and manufacturing teams in Changzhou and Shanghai, China.
