Beckhoff presents a series of devices that will make high-end measurement technology an integrated part of PC-based control. These new EtherCAT measurement technology modules can be directly integrated into the modular EtherCAT Terminal system. A metal housing offers optimised shielding and cooling for measurement technology applications and increased flexibility with regard to interfaces, such as for LEMO or BNC connectors. Sampling rates of up to 50,000 samples per second; precise synchronisation < 1 μs; measuring accuracy of 100 ppm at 23 °C; integrated connection and function diagnostics.
