A hardware upgrade gives latest generation Open HMI systems from R. Stahl a performance boost in high-temperature environments: the series of explosion-protected panel PCs now features Intel Atom series CPUs. The extremely energy-efficient architecture of these processors minimises internal heat loss and ensures continuous operation with full system performance at temperatures of up to +50 °C. The system can even briefly tolerate peaks of up to +55 °C.
