Crownstone developed a smart building technology for seamlessly sensing and reacting to the presence of occupants. Crownstone electronic switches combine indoor localisation with building automation. They are easily installed in any power socket or switch and connects wirelessly with smartphones and wearables. They perform the following functions: on/ off switching of equipment and lighting; dimming of lighting; energy monitoring, device identification; highly accurate indoor localisation and presence detection.

Optimizing climate schedule

Crownstone reports make it possible to analyse occupancy of office space and thus optimize climate schedules and cleaning routines, reducing operating cost. Clients can offer a new way of working to their tenants. With the app they can find their colleagues instantly without having to look for them, organise an an ad-hoc meeting at a meeting room that is vacant and make it available again just by walking out the door.
