In its anniversary year, SPS IPC Drives again confirms its position as the leading exhibition for the electric automation industry. A total of 56,787 visitors took the opportunity to engage in a lively exchange of information with the 1,602 exhibitors on the latest developments and trends in electric automation technology. The three exhibition days were characterized by a very positive atmosphere at the exhibition booths. As the year comes to a close, SPS IPC Drives 2014 therefore provides an important impulse for the economic development of the automation industry in 2015.

253 participants took advantage of the comprehensive information offered at the conference, which runs concurrent to the exhibition. On a high-level, experts from research, product development, and technical application circles discussed the current state of technology and how it can be leveraged in a practical context.

Christian Wolf, Managing Director at the automation specialist Turck, summed up his feelings about the show as follows: "It is fun, it is fantastic, SPS is a great finish of the year. Much more important though, it is a good indicator that the coming year will also be a positive one. There is no other automation show like SPS IPC Drives, and it is absolutely our No. 1. We have been attending for 12 years and are amazed at the event´s enormous development. At the beginning, nobody would have thought that an automation trade fair would become so distinct, that the customers would become so keen on coming here. It is a fix date in each and everyone´s calendar, more and more also on an international level. SPS is a high speed event, with no holdup times for us.
