Level transmitters Serie TLS manufatured by Indra have been designed for continuous monitoring of liquid level inside vessels. The magnetic float moves up and down along the guiding rod, following the liquid level variation. The flot, in its stroke, actuates a reed switch chain, thus generating an output signal converted to 4-20mA or 4-20mA Hart Protocol. The 4-20 mA signal, catchable from the instrument’s head, is directly proportional to the variation of the height of the level. It can be interfaced directly to systems for monitoring a process cycle (i.e. interfacing it directly with a PLC) or in according to other users needs. Alternative output signals can be in Ohm or Volt. The instruments can be supplied complete of a remote microprocessor controller (optional) which allows to display by leds the status of the liquid in the tank, with the possibility to set several alarms for many steps of levels. The Transmitters can be supplied in various versions: Weatherproof IP65, Explosionproof EEx-d IIC T6 ATEX and Intrinsecally Safe EEx-ia IIC T6, and also with GOST (Russian market) and RINA (Marine application) Certificates.
