Magtrol Receives the ISO 17025 Accreditation

In order to offer its customers the assurance of quality products, Magtrol SA (Switzerland) has received ISO 17025 accreditation from the Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS) and the Swiss Accreditation Service (SAS) for its torque calibration laboratory. This accreditation is the recognition of laboratory expertise and a guarantee of quality for the calibration procedure of Magtrol torque sensors TM, TMB, TMHS and TF series. Magtrol can also offer calibration services for all market torque sensors, regardless of the manufacturer.

Magtrol torque calibration laboratory consists of 3 lever calibration benches covering a range from 0.1 Nm to 5,000 Nm as well as a motorized geared bench covering a range 1,000 Nm to 50,000 Nm. The measurement uncertainties of calibration rigs are at 0.01% level of the rated torque range. The laboratory was designed and built to meet the metrological requirements, avoiding floor vibration and temperature fluctuations that could disturb the measurements.
