The expansion of the Jumo tecLine Lf-VA series as per Data Sheet 202924 has seen the development of two new measuring cells (K = 0.1 and K = 0.01). Shortening the active measurement electrodes also allows them to be installed for smaller pipe diameters and lower sample volumes. Essential requirements for the design of the sensor were to follow the hygienic design standards of EHEDG for shape and materials, and to comply with the rules of ASTM International and Pharmacopoeia Europaea (Ph. Eur.). This means that the sensor can be used in production plants of ultra-pure water for the pharmaceutical, food and biotechnology industries. It is also possible to use it in pure and ultra-pure water systems for technical washing processes (reverse-osmosis systems, ion exchangers).
