The Mini FG series compact couplers from Hypertac are part of its heavy duty rectangular coupler range. These miniature multi function couplers are designed for extreme operating conditions within rail inter-vehicle or under car applications, where high performance and high reliable electrical interconnect solutions are important. The couplers are equipped with modular inserts offering a combination of fiber optics, high speed Ethernet twinax or quadrax contacts, and standard hyperboloid signal contacts. Their aluminum shell guarantees protection against corrosion, shocks and vibrations. These couplers meet the requirements of NFF 16-101 and NFF 16-102 for fire, smoke and toxicity resistance.
