Vacon introduces its Vacon 100 Motor Mountable AC drives, designed for harsh environments. These drives are available at powers ranging from 1.1 to 30 kW and do not require additional enclosures for installation. They have a die-cast frame, and large and open cooling ribs. Their enclosure is IP66 rated and withstands severe vibrations. The drives have a built-in PLC programming capability which makes them intelligent and flexible. Decentralized AC drives are usually mounted on the motor itself or on the machine they are driving.
