A comprehensive portfolio of switches, device servers, next-generation firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, serial-to-Ethernet gateways, and remote I/O systems designed to support IEC 62443-4-2 requirements will be displayed. They support companies in implementing technical cybersecurity measures in line with NIS2 and meet the requirements of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).

New products for future-proof networks in small and medium-sized enterprises

With the RKS-G4000-PL (Premium Level) Series, Moxa is introducing a new fanless rackmount switch at SPS. It features up to twelve fixed 10GbE SFP+ ports - more than any other industrial switch on the market. Its LAN and power supply modules can be replaced during operation. With IEC 62443-4-2 Security Level 2 certification, 10 Gbps MACsec encryption, and Secure Boot, it supports the deployment of resilient networks and the implementation of cybersecurity measures in accordance with NIS2.

The new NPort 6600-G2 Series serial device servers with secure-bydesign architecture are certified according to IEC 62443-4-2 Security Level 2. With Secure Boot, role-based authentication, and data stream protection, they allow users to extend the service life of existing serial infrastructures and meet cybersecurity requirements. Visitors can see how the browser-based troubleshooting visualizes serial and Ethernet traffic sorted by port without additional tools. That way, incidents can be pinpointed in a matter of minutes. This not only supports network availability and security but can also significantly reduce the time and administrative effort required for diagnosis and maintenance. Thanks to a proprietary chip, Moxa guarantees a long-term availability of ten years.

Operational simplicity and security down to the field level

The new ioLogik 1400 Ethernet remote I/O platform is designed to easily and securely integrate sensors, actuators, and other field devices into industrial networks. With this solution, Moxa demonstrates how the growing complexity of industrial infrastructures can be managed efficiently at the field level while also supporting cybersecurity and reliability.

The platform simplifies planning, commissioning, and operation thanks to its compact design with high I/O density, front-panel wiring, and push-in terminals. It is designed to comply with IEC 62443-4-1 and equipped with security functions in line with IEC 62443-4-2. Features such as Secure Boot and a secure user and firmware management further increase protection. In addition, dual Ethernet ports and RSTP support ensure high availability, while the wide operating temperature range and ATEX and C1D2 certifications ensure reliable operation even in demanding industrial environments.

For larger industrial networks, Moxa will demonstrate how managed switches, secure routers, and firewalls work together with a network management platform. The focus will be on central management, network visibility, and segmentation as well as the protection of communications. In this way, Moxa supports key tasks involved in implementing NIS2 in OT environments.
