Schaeffler has announced the appointment of Laura Byrne as Industrial Communications & Marketing Manager at Schaeffler (UK) Limited.
Responsibility
In her new role, Laura is responsible for all industrial marketing and communications across the UK and Ireland. Laura will report to Richard Hall, President Industrial for the UK & Ireland. Laura is based at Schaeffler UK in Sutton Coldfield, where the company’s marketing department is located.
Strong growth potential
As Laura states: “I am really excited to be taking on the responsibility for Schaeffler’s Industrial communications and marketing activities in the UK and Ireland, where we see strong growth potential. We will continue to develop the strong Schaeffler brand in these markets by communicating our key messages to an even wider audience. I’m also keen to further develop our existing relationships with business partners and distributors in the UK and Ireland.”
Experience
Laura Byrne has 10 years’ experience in the bearings industry, where she worked in both sales and marketing roles on pan-European and global sales and marketing projects.
