HARTING has launced the Ha-VIS preLink, an all-new installation concept for data network cabling. The data cable is first fitted with a cable termination before a data connector can be engaged. This creates a defined and testable data transmission section. The Ha-VIS preLink range is designed for a very wide range of different mating faces such as RJ45 to IP 20, RJ45 PushPull according to IP 65 / 67 or M12. The new installation concept simplifies cabling, saves installation time, reduces possible errors in assembly and enables expansions and conversion work to be performed without any interruptions of ongoing operations.
