The Nipron UZP-400 Series power supplies. They are designed for high energy efficiency and up to 94% can be achieved at 230 VAC input. The compact series offers a low level of heat generation for a long product life and the opportunity to cut costs for heat management in a system. With a size of 84 x 45 x 180 mm they offer continuous power between 320W/26A at 12V and 400W/8,4A at 48V. The input voltage is set between 85 to 264 VAC for global operation.
The power supply units clears VCCI class B for conducted emissions without the need for external noise filters, facilitating cost reduction. As the series offers a supported peak power of 150% for 10 seconds on the continuous rated power, they can be used for devices requiring higher inrush current, e.g. motors, without choosing a supply with higher rated output. That offers an opportunity to downsize power supplies in many applications. The devices come with a remote on/off function and are available with chassis version with and without covers.
