Recording analog signals, while simultaneously actuating a stepper motor and accepting values from a scale or a barcode reader are classic automation tasks. In general, the user of a control system would need several peripheral modules to do all this. Jetter is extending its JX3 modular system to include the JX3-MIX2 module, in which all the functions have been integrated.
In addition to an output for actuating a stepper motor, a user-programmable serial interface and three analog inputs, it also features an analog output and four digital multi-purpose inputs and outputs. The JX3-MIX2 module is suitable for extending all JetControl controllers. In combination with a controller from the JetControl 340 series, it is particularly suitable for cost-sensitive machines and plant in manufacturing and process automation.
