The IEF Werner domiLINE range of X-Y-Z hand adjusted slides from R. A. Rodriguez, is available in a wide variety of types and sizes. This modular system comes with a range of options including a choice of turntables that are primarily for manual operation but can also be fitted with a motor. To provide for easy and accurate positioning, the slides and turntables can be fitted with an electronic position indicator. This addition allows absolute or incremental measurement to be achieved with a resolution of 0.01mm for the slides and P 0.1° for the rotary units. The indicator is powered by a lithium battery with a 2-year life and can operate within temperature ranges of -10 to +60°C.
