The intelligent positioning systems from the PSE 3xx product family by halstrup-walcher are available in various models that meet particular installation and performance requirements. One highlight is models with hygienic design that can also be used for automatic positioning of auxiliary axes in food and cleanroom applications. The positioning systems are complete solutions that include a BLDC motor with gearbox and controller as well as an absolute measurement system. Preventive maintenance is supported by the integrated control electronics with numerous monitoring functions. The systems don't require additional external power units, proximity or limit switches, or pulse or absolute encoders. Along with the data interfaces for CANopen, Profibus or DeviceNet, the supplier has implemented the Ethernet-based interfaces EtherCAT, sercos, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP and Ethernet POWERLINK. A RS485 interface with Modbus RTU is also available.
