At the end of June, Resolve Optics' financial year closed with a 25% increase in sales for 2018. The company was founded in 1992 and is specialized in development and manufacture of OEM custom lens assemblies for both small and large high technology businesses. Resolve Optics delivers thousands of custom lens assemblies per year – from complex high-speed imaging lenses and material sorting inspection lenses, to radiation resistant lenses for critical medical and nuclear applications.
Investment program
Mark Pontin, Managing Director of Resolve Optics commented “Our continuous program of investment in state-of-the-art optical assembly and testing equipment as well as skilled staff has enabled us to reduce costs and deliver consistently high quality, top performance lenses to our customers”. He added “Lens innovation also remains an important cornerstone of our healthy business. In the last 12 months we developed a range of exciting new products for customers including an ultra-high resolution aerial surveillance lens and a high definition motorised zoom lens for nuclear inspection. As a result, over the last 5 years our profitability has remained good, infact modestly increasing by around 5% per year on average. Looking forward we predict another year of growth in 2018/2019 and as a result are looking to employ further optical assembly engineers”.
