Advanced Micro Controls announces the release of their resolver feedback option module RD 750 for Allen-Bradley PowerFlex 750-Series AC drives. The resolver feedback card is designed using Rockwell Automation technology, plugs into PowerFlex 750 drives like factory I/O, and is programmed using Rockwell Automation software. The option is designed for users who would like to upgrade from PowerFlex 700 drives, but do not want to replace their resolver-equipped motors. The module offers a variety of diagnostic data, and is field configurable using onboard DIP switches. Critical information such as card-to-drive communication, card-to-resolver connection, and parameter faults are all provided visually to optimize performance and simplify troubleshooting. In total over sixteen different status reports are available. Utilizing advanced resolver to digital conversion technology, the module can interface with a wide variety of transmitter & control transformer type resolv­ers, including those from AMCI, Moog, and Tamagawa, as well as many others.
