What is Switch Sensor?
A sensor is a device that converts various physical phenomena, or changes in such phenomena, into signals and data for output. There are many types of sensors used to monitor position, pressure, humidity, and liquid levels. It performs an important control function.
Riko’s level switches - detect the level of a liquid surface.
When the liquid level in a container rises above or falls below a set point, the level switch makes contact (detection occurs), which activates the control unit. Used in medical testing equipment, power generator, lubrication systems, chillers and construction and agricultural machinery. Our products are carefully handcrafted one by one in Japan. ・Terminal box -serving as a junction point for wiring, enabling organized connection of multiple cables. It features a protective structure that guards against water, dust, and external impact.
・The flange - The flange functions as a connector that ensures stable and secure installation of the switch to the tank. It can also be customized to a threaded type and installed by screwing it directly into the tank.
・Floats - Measures the liquid level and transmits the movement of the float to an external indicator or switch via a magnet. Even when the liquid level rises or falls, the float accurately follows the movement and reflects the level change in real time. The material and its specific gravity can be chosen to suit the characteristics of the liquid.
