Ruud Wildschut was made Sales Director Central Europe North and took over responsibility for Northern Germany (north of the Main) and Benelux regions. These two high-revenue economic areas have been combined in order to benefit from the synergies between Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation and sales partners Esco, Hiflex, Imtech and Koning & Hartman and to improve sales and support for Mitsubishi Electric products and solutions.
Hartmut Pütz, President of Mitsubishi Electric's Factory Automation European Business Group, said: "Ruud Wildschut has many years of experience working in the automation industry, including the time he spent as Sales Director for our long-term partner Koning & Hartman. Since October 2011, he has been looking after the Benelux countries for Mitsubishi Electric in his position as Business Development Manager. So when it came to choosing someone to reinforce and develop the close cooperation between us and our local sales partners, he was the perfect choice. His main task will be to step up business in Central Europe North and to improve sales in this important economic region."
Thanks to the previous positions he held, Ruud Wildschut has a wealth of technical expertise in the automation sector to call upon. As Sales Manager at Crouzet, he was responsible for the Benelux region and England while during his time as Sales Director at Koning & Hartman, he was in charge of sales in the industrial automation sector. Both his old and new positions at Mitsubishi Electric represent another step up the career ladder: "We find ourselves in very exciting times! We want to strengthen the support we provide for our partners in the Benelux countries by stimulating their growth. I am really looking forward to taking on this new challenge!"
