Jetter has in store the latest version 3.3 of the SCADA development tool JetViewSoft. As compared with the previous version, it comprises a large range of new features that help developing HMS more efficiently, such as the PC simulation of an operating panel. This allows for displaying the created HMIs for testing the input without any further hardware being possible. All JetView HMIs for industrial and mobile automation that are available can be simulated on PC. In case the selected HMI has got operating keys, they can virtually be pressed by mouse-click. Further, alarm handling has been reviewed completely, equipped with many more functions and integrated into the development tool JetViewSoft. The messages can be categorized and assigned a priority level, which sets the order in which the messages are to be displayed. By means of checkboxes, the user defines which additional information each individual message has to contain. The display colors of still present, respectively acknowledged alarms, warnings or messages can be freely configured. An alarm message can automatically be stored to a log file or trigger an event. The log file is stored to the internal file system of the respective HMI.
