TDK-Lambda EMEA introduces the CSS65 series of compact, single-output power supplies designed specifically with medical applications in mind. With 4kVac reinforced input to output isolation and input to ground isolation of 1500Vac, all CSS65 models meet the applicable safety requirements of UL/EN/IEC60601-1 making them suitable for use in medical devices with applied part rating B. Offered in an industry standard 2 x 4” footprint, with a low profile height of 30mm including underside components, the new open-frame power supplies come with dual fused universal ac input, and can deliver up to 65W at 50°C under convection cooling. Worst-case leakage current is less than 250µA at 264Vac/60Hz, complying with worldwide medical equipment requirements.
