Speedboard Assembly Services announces the appointment of Sophie Duwensee as an Account Manager. In this role, Sophie will be responsible for managing key accounts and developing a customer portfolio within a dedicated Customer Focus Team. Speedboard introduced Customer Focus Teams in 2015 to improve the level of service and focus given to each customer by dedicating a team consisting of an Account Manager, a Buyer, a Production Engineer and an Account Director. Working in close collaboration with their customers and each other enables the team to deliver efficient and responsive service.

The key benefits of the Customer Focus Teams are: streamlined communication with a common contact point for the customer; project management and allocation of resources; risk mitigation; greater ownership and detailed understanding of the customer within the focus team; and New Product Introduction (NPI) management and product transitions.

Sophie has nine years’ experience in the electronics sector, joining Speedboard from Future Electronics, where she has worked since 2013 in marketing, back-end sales and buyer positions. Prior to that, Sophie worked at MSC and Samsung Semiconductor in sales support roles.
