autoVimation developed the compact Fire Salamander series of protective enclosures for the protection of camera systems in applications with hygiene requirements such as the food industry. Its housing is made of corrosion-resistant V4A stainless steel and doesn't have any corners or ridges. The front panel is installed flush with the enclosure cover and an electro polished surface prevents the accumulation of dirt and germs. These enclosures provide IP67 protection to all compact cameras with a maximum width across corners of 55 mm. These cameras often operate in a wet and cold atmosphere with several high-pressure cleanings per day and cannot be installed or used without any additional protection.
