Haydon Kerk Motion Solutions introduces the Haydon RoHS compliant IDEA programmable stepper motor drive. It is a compact, easy-to-use electronic drive with a fully programmable control unit with a patent pending graphic user interface. The drive can be programmed by using on-screen buttons and can be automatically populated with the motor and drive parameters by entering a Haydon actuator part number via the user interface. Default values can easily be adjusted as long as they remain within the safe range calculated by the software. Software simulation of inputs and outputs is possible even before connecting I/O hardware.
