Smart grids, smart cities, smart transportation, smart metering, smart water, smart services, MtoM, Internet of Things, Big Data, smart technologies to make the city more attractive and sustainable territories at the service of citizens ... these are some of the most important topics which will be discussed at the 2nd Edition of Smart City + Smart Grid Congresses (Conferences and Exhibition) around the Broadband and Smart Grid for the City and Territories, 7 & 8 October 2015, Paris Porte de Versailles.

This second edition will be under the patronage of Axelle Lemaire, Secretary of State for the digital to the Minister of Economy, Industry and Digital, and Anne Hidalgo, Mayor of Paris.

During two days, the conference will take stock of all the problems of a rapidly changing sector: The smart cities market could reach 40 billion by 2020 and 100 billion by 2030, according to the firm Alcimed. In total, the deployment of smart meters should generate a market (production counters, Installation ...) from 40 to 50 billion euros by 2020. The French market for smart grids (electricity, natural gas and water) will reach € 8 billion of cumulative investment between 2014 and 2021 (source Xerfi); the smart metering market will be about $ 22.2 billion in 2020 against 5.8 billion in 2010 (Source: Pike Research). According to the world market for Big Data, the global market will represent $ 24 billion in 2016.
