The newly developed thermal imager optris PI 640 is one of the smallest VGA-resolution infrared camera woldwide. With a body sized 45x56x90 mm and weighing 320 grams (lens included), the camera counts among the most compact thermal imaging cameras on the market. It permits recoding of radiometric video imagery at 32 Hz and a VGA resolution of 640x480 pixels, offering a thermal sensitivity of 75 mK. At ambient temperatures between 0 and 50°C, it can measure temperatures ranging from -20°C to 900°C. For process integration the unit comes with the license-free application software optris PI Connect. This easy-to-use software enables users to monitor and document measurements and to edit infrared video imagery.
