Wireless IO System

At the SPS show, Schildknecht will showcase its Dataeagle X-treme IO 2730. The goal is to replace cables with radio links. This wireless IO system is based on Bluetooth Low Energy. It has been developed for system optimization in process technology. Since analog and digital IO signals are easy transmitted by radio, the Dataeagle X-treme IO 2730 works as a cable substitute.

Easy and reliable solution for transmitting analog and digital input and output signals in the form of a distribution box

Its plug and play technology make the installation done easier and the maintenance effort is reduced. It is optionally equipped with 4 or 8 M12 ports. The connections are respectively configured as DI or DO and accordingly AI or AO and send digital or analog signals by radio (Bluetooth Low Energy). Moreover, IP67 protected, it comprises an integrated antenna and the wireless range is of up to 70 m.
