The logistics industry is increasingly focusing on safety to prevent wrong-way traffic and optimize picking times. The new microsonic Wrong-Way Sensor (wws) guides industrial trucks safely through high-bay warehouses. This innovative ultrasonic sensor has a maximum range of 3.5 m. Within this measuring range, the wws detects industrial trucks entering aisles in logistics halls. The sensor distinguishes between incoming and outgoing industrial trucks.

In a one-way system in a high-bay warehouse, industrial trucks traveling in the correct direction do not need to be warned. However, if an industrial truck travels in the wrong direction, the driver must be warned acoustically and visually. For this purpose, the Wrong Way Sensor is equipped with a flashing light and a horn. This prevents unnecessary wrong turns and collisions with oncoming industrial trucks.

Pre-set for easy use

The wws is characterized by low power consumption. The ultrasonic sensor can be powered by a power bank. Thanks to the magnetic mount, installation on steel poles is quick and does not require drilling. Optional mounting with screws on the long slot is possible at any time. The wws is pre-set and ready for immediate use. The Wrong Way Sensor is ideal for high-bay warehouses, distribution centers, and production facilities where clear guidance of industrial trucks is essential. By preventing wrong turns, the sensors contribute to a safe and efficient logistics process.
