Delivering advanced reading performance regarding area coverage and speed, the Matrix 450 2D imager from Datalogic enables a range of logistic applications not covered by a 2D imager before. Capable of capturing 5Mpixels at 15 fps, it has no moving parts and an IP 65 protected rugged metal construction that guarantees long life cycle even in harsh industrial environments. Meeting the requirements of both automated and manual material handling, the imager comes with such special features as continuous acquisition option, no flashing white illumination, and patented colored spot indicators. Its 512MB internal memory allows captured images to be stored on board and optionally transferred to external devices using the integrated Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. The embedded ID-NET communication interface enables reader clustering for extended reading area coverage in single side and multi side applications.
