MSA111C is a new sensor type from SIKO's MagLine series specially developed to meet the requirements of direct drive technology. This sensor offers a resolution of 1µm in the absolute channel and high control dynamics via real-time channel 1Vss combined with immunity to dirt and vibration. The sensor has an RS485 interface, which makes it bus-capable and enables up to 31 devices to be connected together via a single cable strand. Both absolute and incremental lanes are used to calculate the position value which is read out via an SSI or RS485 interface.
