Kistler's Type 8766A(x) is a low thermal sensitive triaxial PiezoStar accelerometer in a very small cube with only 3,7 g mass. It accurately measures frequency events from 0,5 … 10 000 Hz. A flat frequency response without slope over the entire frequency range is possible thanks to the extremely stiff PiezoStar crystal sensing element. This PiezoStar accelerometer is available with 3 different mounting thread holes in each axis for flexible mounting capability and frequency response calibration without any adapter in a tight back-to-back calibration. It can be used in a temperature range of -54 to 120 °C.
