Available in ±50 to ±2000g dynamic ranges, the Model 7131A miniature triaxial IEPE accelerometer, from Measuremet Specialities, is specifically designed for NVH, engine vibration, road response, modal analysis, structural testing, ride handling and flight testing. It features a hermetically sealed titanium construction with a 4-pin Microtech connector interface. The rugged accelerometer incorporates stable piezo-ceramic crystals in annular shear mode which provide a flat frequency response up to >10kHz. Featuring a stable operating performance over -55 to 125°C with a linearity of ±1% (FSO), it operates from 18 to 30Vdc and provides a ±5Vdc output with an 8 to 12Vdc bias voltage. Excitation current is 2 to 10mA. Case grounded, the device is adhesively mounted for ease of installation. Each unit is shipped with an NIST traceable amplitude calibration certificate. A 4-pin 1/4-28 to 3x BNC cable assembly (315) is offered as an accessory as is the Model 161A 4-Channel PE & IEPE Signal Conditioner.
