ACE Controls Inc. has started its new web presence with innovation and clearly arranged, harmonised information. The plan is to highlight, in 11 languages, all 3,800 variations of damping technology solutions - from speed regulation and vibration technology to safety products.
The new homepage of ACE is online. Everything has a better layout, is more visually appealing and is more understandable on www.acecontrols.com. For example, 56 ACE applications with images and text have been incorporated for the first time. These illustrate immediately what is possible with solutions from ACE, and might well be the trigger for visitors' own design ideas. Visitors can learn for example that products from the damping and vibration technology specialists are also used for jogging in zero gravity, and for commodes accessible to the disabled. Visitors also benefit from the CAD drawings and the diversity of catalogues kept in the large download area. This information is always kept up-to-date and the PDF files of the catalogues are available in 11 different languages. This diversity of language correlates with the internationality of ACE. To underline this, ACE is currently standardising the appearance of all the websites of its subsidiaries across the globe. In all existing and future versions, the database-aided homepage is to be the home to 3,800 products. Every single one is linked to about 300 attributes, giving about 1 million entries for every version. 18,000 files and 2,000 folders with images are associated with this information.
To simplify searches for suitable ACE solutions, the different family pages of product segments are colour coded. So anybody requiring vibration technology solutions will head straight for the green area. As a navigation aid, the colour coding of the four solution areas simplifies searches for suitable articles in the broad product range. The footer of the homepage is the fastest way there. This is because all menus are positioned clearly at the lower end of every individual page, meaning every possible sub-menu is just a click away.
A visit to the website is also worthwhile because training is playing an even greater role than before. The ACE Academy is therefore also prominent on the homepage.
